Diwali: Festival of Light

Diwali has very importance for hindus.
Being a hindu family, my parents too does all rituals and worship Goddess Laxmi and Lord Ganesha. This time i captured some snapshots live from our "Pooja -Ghar", but my nokia camera cudn't capture all the light scattered in this room :)
My father chanting hindu mantras and mother helping in the rituals like Vedic worships.I did participated in the "Hawan".
I just watched the pious fire and the light which was engulfing the darkness inside me :)
Offcourse i got the prasadam after pooja for the patience.
Neways wish all of you too happy diwali.
This time when real bomb blasts happening in nation, i would chant, "Om Shanti Shanti Shanti" !!! :)

Mera Aashiyana

So i found another one without any roof at head and a kind of "Kholi"
arrangement :)
This beautiful white pegion was residing under a tea stall where we had a small tea-break while our journey from delhi to bikaner.
The Shopkeeper had a freindship with this bird and the bird also had the understanding.

Rising Horizons

This Pic again by nokia 3500 tells the stoy of human developement.
When i was child, i used to create drawings in which sun used to hide behind the mountains.
The triangular shaped mountains could easily be drawn.
Now we have created some more hideouts for our dear sun :)
But still i find the hiding behind mountains more beautiful.

The Hut

Everybody wishes to have a some place to live.
Some wish for huge bunglows, penthouses and some have to be satisfied with small kholis And some never ever end up with any place to live..no roof above head :)
I just wish to have a place amid nature.
Here is a hut i caught while traveling to udaipur again with nokia 3500.
It has no other dwellings around.
Imagine, the only happening thing for this hut would be the railway tracks :)

Insect

This picture was taken by my nokia 3500 2 MP camera gifted by Sonali, my sis.
Amid all the greens, this insect is just busy, enjoying his food....
Unlike we humans, who have damaged nature as much as possible but still hungry... :)
